In 2025, the Moses Lake Library Foundation continued its mission of supporting and strengthening our community library through fundraising, advocacy, and donor support.
This year, the foundation helped fund important upgrades that improved both safety and overall library experience for patrons and staff.
One of the most significant impacts came from a generous donor who contributed $100,000 through the Foundation to support a major shelving replacement project. This funding helped the library begin replacing outdated shelving that had been in place since the 1960s, creating a safer, more modern space for visitors to browse and discover materials.
In addition, the Foundation provided funding for new displays, flexible service equipment, and essential materials that help library staff better serve the community. These improvements allow staff to highlight new resources, support programs more easily, and provide efficient service during busy times.
Thanks to support of donors and community members, the Foundation continues to play a vital role in helping the Moses Lake Library remain a welcoming, safe, and vibrant place for learning, connection, and opportunity.
