Attend a Foundation Meeting
The Moses Lake Public Library Foundation welcomes community members who want to support and strengthen our local library.
We meet on the last Wednesday of each month at 5:00 pm at the Moses Lake Public Library . Meetings are open to anyone interested in learning more about our work, sharing ideas, or getting involved.
What We Do Together
At Foundation meetings we:
- Plan and discuss upcoming library improvement projects.
- Brainstorm creative ways to raise funds and awareness.
- Advocate for the library at the city and community level.
- Build partnerships and strengthen community support.
What to Expect
Our meetings are welcoming, collaborative, and full of positive energy. At each meeting we:
- Share updates on current projects and fundraising efforts.
- Explore new opportunities to support the library’s growth.
- Encourage ideas and input from attendees – your voice matters.
- Help volunteers and supporters find ways to get involved bases on their interests.

Volunteer at Community Events
The Moses Lake Public Library Foundation is proud to show up for our community – and you can join us!
We participate in all the Moses Lake Farmers Market off season markets and host a booth monthly during the Summer Market Series. These events are a wonderful way to connect with families, share the mission of the foundation, and support literacy in our community.
What Volunteers Do
When you help staff at our booth, you’ll:
- Talk with the community members about the Foundation and current library needs.
- Share information about upcoming projects and ways to support the library.
- Help distribute free books to local children – always a favorite!
- Represent the library in a positive, welcoming way.
Volunteering at events is fun, flexible, and a meaningful way to support the Moses Lake Library. Whether you can help once or throughout the season, your time makes a difference.
Donate
Your support helps strengthen and enhance the Moses Lake Public Library for our entire community.
There are several meaningful ways to give:
- Donate gently used children’s books, We accept gently used children’s books to distribute at local events, including the Moses Lake Farmers Market. These free books are always a favorite with families and help promote literacy and a love of reading throughout or community.
- Make a financial donation. Monetary contributions allow the Foundation to fund library improvement projects, support special initiatives, and respond to the library’s greatest needs. Every gift , no matter the size, makes an impact.
- Purchase a foundation Bag. Support the Foundation by purchasing one of our fundraising bags. It is a simple way to give back while helping spread awareness about the library in Moses Lake.
Together we can ensure the Moses Lake Library remains a vibrant, welcoming place for learning, connection, and opportunity.
