50 Year Celebration

50YearCelebration

On March 21st, The Moses Lake Public Library Foundation hosted a reception celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the dedication of the public library building, which took place March 22, 1965.  The MLPLF board thanks  the Friends of the Library, the library staff and volunteers, and library patrons who provided their time, expertise, money, decorations and refreshments to help us honor community members and donors to the foundation.  Special thanks to Mayor Dick Deane for speaking and  Michaelle Boetger, Bill Ecret at KBSN, iFiberOne News,CBH, Lindsey Fuhrman, Safeway, Grocery Outlet, and Dollar Up Store for their contributions of goods and services.  Over 100 hundred people signed our guest book and over 500 people visited the library on the day of the reception.   We are grateful to all who support remodeling and expanding our public library.
